| I suppose it's about time for an update now?
senior year is almost over... just over 20 days left now, I think. I feel like I should be more excited about all state this weekend, but I'm kind of just stressed out right now. I'm really really glad I'll finally be in an SATB choir for the first (and last) time in my high school career... I'm actually going to sing with real boys! the rooms should be interesting too - Sarah, Victoria and I will be in one room, and Suzanne, Lindsey, and Lorel will be next door. I'm just nervous about who mystery roomie #4 will be in both rooms. I don't think I knew any of the non-Godwin girls who made it, which means they'll probably be the awful Hanover girls. ehhh whatever, between Sarah and Victoria's "you piss me off, I can make you want to die" evil glares, I think even the most obnoxious person would probably shut up. I just hope that John's going to be rooming with the three Godwin guys, because he's been asking me for months and I'm going to feel really bad if he gets stuck with people he doesn't know. overall though, I think the people are going to be better than last year - no creepy Chris Adams, no Nikki Stumpf and her evil black twin Victoria, hopefully my Adam Brody look-alike will be there again (and hopefully not remember that Michelle and I stalked him), and POSSIBLY the boy who looked like Gwenyth Paltrow (assuming he didn't graduate or die from a sex change operation). and I'm finally starting to believe that Victoria doesn't actually hate me at all, which is an encouraging thought.
but May is going to be incredibly busy.

5/22 - senior skip day
5/23 - chorus senior banquet
5/30 - Alexander Nevsky concert... laksdfjlsakf which reminds me I have to learn my solo in Russian. go figure, the one time I try out for somethind and really really think I have no chance at getting it, I do and it's in Russian.
well, this kind of stressed me out more, but it was probably better than packing.

| I think, for the first time in years, I have John Alley completely out of my system. it's a nice feeling. that was definitely the most refreshingly mutual, relieving breakup imaginable. in the words of Chelsea Slate after walking out of the bathroom at the circus, "I feel much more better now."

| I think I officially don't need sleep anymore. I'm just a zombie. I got 2 hours of sleep last night and even though we were traveling for almost 15 hours today, I only slept for about 5 minutes during the previews before Bruce Almighty. and I'm not really tired now.
glamorous Disney pictures tomorrow maybe?
